Each Argyle pink diamond has traveled an epic journey lasting more than 1.6 billion years from deep within the Earth in Western Australia  ̶  to only a handful of Select Atelier™ jewelers in the world.

In 2015, Barmakian was nominated into the exclusive group of Argyle Pink Diamonds Select Ateliers, and is pleased to be one of the only luxury retailers in the United States carrying Argyle pink diamonds with an unbroken chain of custody.

Located in the remote East Kimberley region of Western Australia, Argyle produces 90% of the global pink diamond supply, yet this represents less than 1% of the mine’s annual production; the annual production of intense pink diamonds over half a carat would fit in the palm of your hand while the rarer red and violet diamonds would barely fill a teaspoon. These exceptionally rare diamonds make up just .001% of the world’s natural color diamonds.
