Nearly seventy years ago, the Candela jewelry house was founded by the Candela family in Valencia, Spain. The company, Candela Hermanos, quickly became one of the world’s largest manufacturers of Spanish fine jewelry. Andréa Candela, one of the Candela daughters, created a fine jewelry line in 2004 that was sold in the U.S. and the Caribbean.
Inspired by the beauty and heritage of Spain, Andréa designed a magnificent collection of jewelry, incorporating 18kt gold and sterling silver, with genuine gemstones and diamonds. Identifiable by its unique Armadillo finish and rope edge design trademarks, Andréa Candela incorporates old world craftsmanship for today’s fashion forward woman.
Under new ownership in early 2000, the design team, inspired by Andréa’s vision, has carried on the timeless traditions of earlier pieces, while bringing a modern twist to the collection. The pieces are classical, yet whimsical at the same time.
