The Belle Etoile story began in Bangkok, Thailand in the 1940s, where Sim Tae started a small gem-cutting business. Over time, under Sim's guidance, the Tae family took jewelry manufacturing to new heights of craftsmanship and innovation. Mr. Tae's daughters, Cher and Penny, and his granddaughter, Carolyn, founded Belle Etoile in 2004 as the perfect union of their fashion sense and their family's firm commitment to quality.
