In January of 1965, Nicholas DeCristofaro Sr. established Carla Corporation with his son in law Ralph Fleming joining him shortly after in 1968. The company started buying and selling finished product as well as making its own findings and finished jewelry to distribute to the small independent retail jewelers. The company grew rapidly and soon became one of the leading earring manufacturing companies in the US.

Due to it's rapid growth, Carla was relocated to a larger facility. The move was a major reconstruction project and every member of the founding family was involved in the process.

Carla may be a small company located in the small state of Rhode Island, but their passion overflows from every vein.
